Dr. Sandra Ogunremi

Dr. Sandra Ogunremi oversees Spiritual Care Services, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Monument Health.

Dr. Sandra Ogunremi, DHA is the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for Monument Health. She has been with Monument Health since 2008, most recently as director of diversity, inclusion and spiritual care services. She has made it a priority to increase cultural knowledge and awareness, and to tear down the barriers that keep us from learning about each other. She is a national and international conference speaker.

Ogunremi earned a doctorate degree in health administration from Central Michigan University (CMU) in 2009. She has a master’s degree in administration from CMU and an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She is certified in Diversity Management with the American Hospital Association’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity. She is a Cornell Certified Diversity Practitioner and holds several other certifications that enable her to deliver her best. She is an Assemblies of God ordained minister, the South Dakota Assemblies of  God State Director for the Women’s Ministry  and is the published author of the books Casting Down Disruptive Imaginations and Overcoming Threats, Thoughts and Triggers.

 
 

In 2018, Dr. Sandra Ogunremi received the Equity of Care honoree award on behalf of Monument Health.

 
 

Having lived on three continents and traveled across four continents extensively, she has experienced the wonderfully diverse cultures of the world and has coached leaders on them. She is a seasoned conference speaker. She speaks locally, nationally and internationally.

Dr. Sandra Ogunremi is an ordained minister with Assemblies of God. She has served as the Black Hills’ Sectional Representative for the Women’s Ministry within South Dakota from 2008-2022 when she became the State Director. She has taught throughout the Unites States, Canada, Africa and England. She is most fulfilled when being used as a conduit to positively impact lives.

She coaches people on alleviating hurt, pain and the anguish that can sometimes leave people emotionally crippled. She speaks on living a meaningful life while being physically and spiritually healthy. Reverend Sandra Ogunremi derives great joy and fulfillment when motivating, inspiring and coaching others. She is happiest when she is being used as a conduit to bless others.

She has been married to Dr. Ayodele Ogunremi, a Board-Certified Nephrologist and Board-Certified Internist, since 1993 and they have three adult children.
